Baseball Trip of a Lifetime

Stay tuned for updates on my trip to see Bert Blyleven inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame located in Cooperstown, NY.  I'll be making pitstops along the way in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and who knows where else!

  1. Pit stop in Milwaukee... Cleveland game Friday night, Pittsburgh game Saturday night. Wonderful trip so far. Can't wait to start seeing some ball being played.

  3. Life on the road you get a lil' stir crazy. Just a lil' case of the snaps. Tonight on the road we shall watch Ken Burns' Baseball Vol. 5, unless Bull Durham or Field of Dreams takes priority.

  4. Chicago was big and smoggy, not real impressed. I'll take lil' ole Minneapolis any day. Drove by U.S. Cellular Field. Doesn't look real appealing from the outside, though I'm sure it's gorgeous on the inside. That's another trip though. Progressive Field is real destination #1. Should arrive early enough to Cleveland to make a day of it tomorrow. Since I've started typing this entry, we've passed into Indiana, the Crossroads of America. Powerlines and more powerlines. Sun is going down on day #1. The night has just begun. lol

  5. You are driving through the night? crazy bastards. Spend a whole day in Cleveland, sounds fantastic.

All i want to know is when will this real life game of clue start... i am guessing Mort, in the RV, with power cord... Let me know how close i get.

Have fun guys, say hi to Bert for me.

  6. Captain's Log 08:41 hours EST - Elkhart, IN. AC unit froze up last night so we're having it fixed. 44 year-old man/child named 'Coop' is fixin' it all up 'all good'. His daddy set the world record in 79' for a 300 MPH 1/4 mile. Never heard so many profane mumbled words. New estimated TOA in Cleveland... 4pm.

Wade Werner ‎'Coop' says they call this town lil' Chicago. If you wanna kill somebody and get away with it, this is the town. Most unsolved crimes in the nation. Can't get the wheels turnin' fast enough. Good Lord!
